<a name="network"></a><dl><dt><big>Communicating</big></dt>

<dd>Due to the nature of the dimension, the "network" in Octacore is mystically-powered. 
When characters arrive in the main camp for the first time, there is a Merchant there who will give them a device of their own choosing. How this device looks and what functions it has is up to the player, but they will need to specify the appearance and limitations (if any) of the device in their application. This could include but is not limited to: mirrors, cellphones, headsets, etc.
 
It is suggested that characters consider choosing a device appropriate to their canon source, but if a character decides to choose one wildly different from what they may be accustomed to, it should be explained why they would chose it. If you want to place your own limitations on a communication device to make your character get out and see more people face-to-face, or travel to different places, feel free; for instance, make a mirror stationary. However, all devices, no matter what form they take, can communicate with one another and everyone can look at theirs to see posts from anyone else.

There are no private filters on the network. Because of that, one-on-one correspondence is handled in a more traditional way, such as letters and couriers. Hand-written notes can always be delivered via birds or messengers to characters in other territories. Private emails can sent between characters in internet-having cities. We suggest setting up an IC-contact post in your character's journal to use as IC correspondence via these means. We may, in the future, add a way to count activity via this means toward activity checks or favors.</dl>

<A name="powers"></a><dl><dt><big>Powers, Skills, & Abilities</big></dt>

<dl><dt>Powers:</dt>
<DD> If a character has an inherent power in canon, such as magic or mutation, they are allowed to have it here.

In the application, every applicant must break down the full scope of the character's abilities, and any that are deemed too powerful or world-breaking may be dampened.

World-breaking powers include anything that could, with the wave of a wand or blink of an eye, return all characters and zones to their home worlds, alter time, cross dimensions, or contend directly on an even scale with Orochi, Kiyomori, or any of the other God-like characters.

Additionally, we may also ask for toning down or blocking of any powers that directly affect other characters in a passive manner or active manner, such as controlling someone against their will, instantly charming or enslaving anyone nearby, or automatically harming other characters in close proximity. Sorry Edward Cullen, your powers aren't going to work here.

Telepathic abilities may not necessarily be blocked in the setting, but godmodding is absolutely not permitted. When it comes to telepathy or anything of the sort, ask permission from the other players first, or you will be penalised. Using them on NPCs may be possible, but please run it by a mod first before doing so, as it may have IC consequences which need to be dealt with. Teleportation, apparition, and the like will not be banned but will toned down to start with, in the form of limiting the teleporting to a certain distance at any given time, or requiring more energy/mana/magic ability than usual.

In all cases, voluntary toning down is absolutely acceptable. We will not stand in the way of any player who chooses to do this, or even to get rid of their character's powers entirely.
 Keep in mind that inside the Main Camp, all powers are dampened. Outside it, any approved powers are free to be used according to the rules. Mod permission is required to level whole towns and affect the landscape on a large scale – please see the rules for examples.</dl>

<dl><dt>Skills & Abilities:</dt>
<dd>Whatever talents your characters had at home, they have here.

It is highly encouraged that they use these talents and abilities. to survive and thrive. Non-combatants are free to seek teachers or trainers in order to learn any fighting skills they don't possess, and there will be rewards for characters who join the Resistance army and dedicate themselves to fighting against Orochi.

They don't have to be part of the main war in order to fight. Cities and castles may be vulnerable to conquering, either by Orochi's demon minions or by PCs in player-run plots, so it's never a bad thing to learn how to use a weapon or protect oneself.

Of course, fighting isn't the talent in the world. People will be in need of teachers, doctors, cooks, mages, shopkeepers, and any number of other services. Characters are welcome to resume their customary occupation in any area where they settle down, or start a new job, business, or service – and advertise to the network at large that they're available for anyone who wants to travel and see them. Just remember that computers, appliances, and anything that relies on electrical power will only work in cities that have electricity – their home zone and anywhere similar enough.</dl></dl>

<dd>There are NPCs living in all the zones. The NPCs are your farmers and factory workers, who keep daily life going as if there aren't demon armies roaming across the land trying to re-conquer it for Orochi's glory. You should be nice to them, thankful that they keep your storehouses full of rice and your 7-11 rolling in Cheetos. But they also need your help - if Orochi's troops invade a land, or some other event leads to villains overrunning a castle, it's up to those living there to protect their NPC neighbors from the bad guys, or call in some Resistance heroes to do the protecting.

There will also be boss NPCs: Taira no Kiyomori is the main story foe, and as such, will be NPC'd by the mod team in order to drive the overarching storyline forward. Other boss-level NPCs may be added as needed, to serve serve as the commanders in some battles and action plots. Note, any other characters on Orochi's side in any of the three games are open to be apped by any player - with the exception of Orochi himself (or Orochi X, his resurrected form). Kaguya is your death NPC - she will appear to escort characters back in time to correct a death that shouldn't have happened. Death reversals should be used sparingly, and there are rules for the use of Kaguya's power on <a href=http://octamods.dreamwidth.org/3091.html>this page</a>.</dl>

<a name="battles"></a><dl><dt><big>Battles, Personal Plots, & Quests</big></dt>

<dd>The foundation of Warriors Orochi and the nature of the dimension into which all these areas and people have been pulled is war: battles to protect castles, battles to conquer villages, and the ongoing war against Orochi's forces to stay alive.
<dd>
Rumor has it that the only way to break up all this land and send it back to its original worlds is to wipe it clean of any and all presence of the demons that created it. However, it is entirely possible to play in the game and enjoy a long tenure without ever seeing or participating in an actual battle – it depends on where your character decides to live and thrive, and whether the war decides to leave their land alone. There will be a mixture of moderator plots, meant to move the story and expand the world, and player plots, that may affect everything from one's own territory to half the map.

While mod plots will deal with the setting, storyline, and likely the entire world dimension, that doesn't mean that everyone will suddenly see battle, but it is likely that they will at least know what is going on, and there may be effects other than fighting. From time to time there will be natural disasters caused by the instability of the dimension, or strange mystical effects stemming from Taira no Kiyomori or other NPCs attempting to resurrect Orochi (again) or trying to return the world to its original state.

Players will always have the opportunity to choose how their character will be affected during the course of a mod plot, including sitting out battles or evacuating to safe zones. In the event that zones or castles are entirely conquered by the Orochi army, the mod team will clear such changes with any players who may have characters affected. Moderator plots will also serve to open up areas of the map previously inaccessible - as though unlocking a new stage.

Player plots are run by players and their PCs, and thus will usually be on a small scale. It is possible for a player-run plot to affect most of the world; the only limitations are what you can come up with, and the mods will work with players to make sure their plot is viable. Player plots can be anything from shenanigansin a city to attempts by allied armies to conquer neighboring castles. Conquest is possible only with the permission of all players who may be affected by it, OOC agreements must be reached.

Any plot that has the potential to change the landscape, harm NPCs, or launch attacks against the NPC bosses like Taira no Kiyomori, needs mod permission and clearance. Light-hearted plots involving the abuse of powers also need permission, especially if they have the potential to affect more than a handful of characters besides the player's own. Mingles, parties, and other CR-building opportunities do not need permission.

Quests are merely plots where there is a finite end goal, such as hunting for treasure, or rescuing hostages. Players may propose a quest for a small group of characters or for the game at large. Mod plots may occasionally be in the form of a quest, where an NPC asks for aid from the PCs. The main difference between a quest and a plot is that it will involve a reward of some kind; monetary, personal, or both. If a quest is proposed that involves some of the NPCs, the mod team and helpers will be happy to coordinate someone to play those NPCs if necessary.

If players are interested in playing out battles, here is no set system for this game. Battles can be managed either by playing out prose logs, by random dice rolls, or by a group of players getting together to sit down and hash out the results. Major mod plot battles involving armies at war may have the outcome decided ahead of time, so that the fun is in the playing out of consequences. The mod team is always open to assistance with new and unique forms of deciding battles.</dl>

<a name="death"></a><dl><Dt><big>Death in Orochi’s World</big></dt>

<dd>Death is permanent, and will have consequences. It's not something that can be reversed easily; characters are considered dropped. This means that if you need to leave, you have the option to go out dramatically by killing your character off.

<a name="maincamp"></a><dl><dt><big>Main Camp</big> </dt>

<dd>In the center of Orochi's realm there is the main camp - one of few truly safe areas.

<dd>Militaristic and spartan, the gates leading to the camp are wide and clear, making it easy for wagons of supplies to pass through. The camp is well-guarded by a force of trained soldiers, make sure others feel secure. There are lava fields surrounding it, further keeping it protected by natural forces.

In the interest of peace and harmony, a power-dampening field was erected around the main camp. Here, and thus far only here, powers of any kind (magic, mutation, Devil Fruit, superpowers, etc) will not work at all until the character is beyond the gates. To help maintain this peace, the camp guards are trained in a multitude of martial arts, and prepared to subdue and arrest anyone who attempts to fight anyone else (PC or NPC), or generally cause chaos. There is a row of stocks near the Merchant's temp where troublemakers are publicly displayed for a night or two should they try anything untoward. Embarrassing to be sure, but a unique way to introduce your character and create CR.

Aside from the main pathways where one can converse with others and find the shops, there are also a number of large, sturdy canvas tents grouped together to comprise different living areas. They don't leak when it rains, don't fall over in a heavy wind, but are far from comfortable and not intended for permanent residence. Up to 12 people can sleep comfortably in one tent.

Additionally, there is a single large mess tent for group meals, and while filling, said meals are anything but extravagant. Once in a while, newcomers will find themselves greeted by some officers of the Resistance, and there will also be banquet mingle logs on occasion for CR-building and general hanging out. </dt></dl>

<A name="arrival"></a><dl><dt><big>Arrival</big> </dt>
<dd>
Upon arrival, characters are provided with room in a tent, as well as a privacy screen and basic amenities, including a bed roll. When it comes to bathing and toilet facilities, they are also communal and rather primitive (no hot water, no automatic flushing), which may be all the motivation your character needs to get moving elsewhere.

If your character was pre-approved to carry their canon weapon, have a pet, or bring a personal vehicle, those will also arrive with them in the Camp. As the Main Camp doesn't have any fuel available, it's advised to be caution with whatever fuel the vehicle arrives with - don't go doing wheels in the middle of the dirt paths!

The first thing your character will be directed to do is to visit the Merchant - while most of what he has to sell (weapons, trinkets, and perhaps meatbuns) will certain cost some gold, gems, or crystals, he will provide a complimentary communications device provided by the Resistance leaders, tailored to fit each person's tastes and needs. This keeps all characters in touch with them, as the Resistance leaders like to do recruiting now and then.

As with any Merchant, he dislikes competition, and so while your character is free to stay in the camp as long as they like (and can stand), the Merchant will give them a hard time if they attempt to encroach on his vending turf by bringing in items to sell or starting a business of their own. To this end, there are no real jobs to be had in the camp, as it is really only intended to be a transit lounge before people move on to other, more comfortable and familiar, territories.

To help with that, crude maps of the known areas are available, and from time to time the Resistance leaders will send messengers with updated territory information. Sometimes, this information may contain a territory that newcomers may recognise from their home world. Once they are ready to be travelled to, and a character is rearing to do, the Camp is willing to provide them with a horse and probably an escort through any dangerous fields - a safe area one week may be swarming with demons the next, so the mods will provide updates on any large scale movements.

The one exception is a type of Welcoming Committee, for characters who know the ins and outs of the realm, like meeting new people, and really don't mind living in or nearby The Main Camp. They're welcome to apply to help out others. And while no one expects them (or their player) to thread out every interaction with every newcomer, long-term activity and IC knowledge is vital, and so mod permission is required. Please email the mods if interested.

If your character has any questions, there are servants and guides who are happy to answer any or point them in the right direction. Please see the IC FAQ. This will have most of the basics that new characters will be told when they arrive. If there is anything that is not covered, let us know.

IMPORTANT: Once in a while, due to the instability of the realm, characters will not appear in the Main Camp, but may appear in small groups in other random territories across the land. These will be announced ahead of time, and new applicants have the right to opt in or out of their characters being randomly teleported elsewhere. If this happens, they will automatically have the communications device with them.</dl>

<a name="arrivaloptions"></a><dl><dt><big>Options Upon Arrival</big> </dt>

<dd>For characters hailing from the Musou/Warriors titles, parts of Orochi's world may seem familiar. Many of the known territories are their own, though not always in the hands of those they're supposed to be.

If a Koei Warrior has been brought in from their original timeline and world, and has no memory of Orochi, they may find themselves gravitating toward many of the same people as they remember, but there is always reason to join up elsewhere as needed.

For the newcomers who recognise very little of the burning and twisted land, there are a lot of options - the Main Camp is only a starting point. While there, rumours may appear of a new land, strange land that sounds familiar to only a fair few. Characters can travel to their small piece of home land, and decided to settle - but need to be beware, because Orochi's demon army doesn't care where a territory comes from if it can be conquered. Or, if adventure is their thing, you could travel around the map exploring all sorts of things, like modern cities rising up from the middle of Greek ruins or lava fields melding New York and Paris with Chinese castles.

If a character is more interested in fighting, the Resistance army in all its various factions are always recruiting. It's a good way to receive new weapons and training. More the more peaceful folk, there are safer and more protected territories that need people for more mundane tasks. In a world this diverse, there's something for everyone, whether they're a fighter, a civilian, a teacher, an artisan, a king or a commoner.

But beware, Orochi's minions are alive and well, and Taira No Kiyomori has not relented in his mission to resurrect the Serpent King and lay waste to every single piece of this dimension. Sooner or later, every single territory has the potential to come under fire, to face invasion by demon, if not by others. Any villains who arrived have the option to either cast in with Orochi's army or raise their own armies, if they can get anyone to follow them. </dl>

<a name="trade"></a><dl><dt><big>Trade, Service & Currency</big> </dt>

<dd>Every world is different. Each one may bring in different types of buildings, different animals and plants, and different monetary systems. Trying to equalize all things across all territories is next to impossible, but as it is, each territory has its own internal machinations, and there is a bartering and trade system introduced between each world. The precious metals – gold and silver – can still be used as a standard measurement for payment for services, but for the most part, it is easier for characters to trade for the things they need.

With this, nobody has to find a job that pays a steady paycheck! After all, what exists within a territory is finite. No mail or new money is coming into each city from its home world, and no way to create new funds to pay people. However, characters will be allowed to use their existing money within their home territory (or territories that use the same currency).

When attempting to do business across territory lines with areas that don't have equivalent monetary systems, people work out trades for goods and services, one favor or item for another.

There is gold and silver floating around the land that can be used. Orochi used chests full of gold to bribe Dong Zhuo in past battles, and there is treasure that miscreants try to sniff out. Gold coins and other valuables may be rewarded in quests and plots, or warlords may pay some of their most faithful retainers with precious metals instead of rice. New territories brought in with new canons may also have the option to contain a treasure hoard of whatever that canon values most - money, food, etc. These hoards would not be accessible but rather serve as an IC incentive to protect the territory from being conquered and eventually OOCly open up quest plots to find said treasures. They require mod approval.</dl>

<a name="law"></a><dl><dt><big>Law & Order</big> </dt>
<dd>With law, the basics apply: theft, murder, rape, and other major crimes are prohibited universally.

But this dimension is one at constant war with Orochi's army, and there is a general sense of chaos. It may be harder to arrest and convict criminals, particularly for smaller crimes, so in some territories without a strong presence of law enforcement, its easy to get away with a lot. Those inclined are free to start up law enforcement or militia organizations within their home territories, if those territories are not affiliated with any of the warlords currently holding power across the majority of the land. Vigilante rule within their territory is also acceptable.

Through the largest portion of the territories belong either to Wei, Wu, Shu, or one of the Sengoku-era warlords, they do not hold the entire dimension to their own standards of law. Outside their own territories, they cannot dictate how anyone else will judge or punish thieves and murderers. Again, the main camp is subject mainly to a universal standard of law, but trouble will be swiftly dealt with by a military presence. But keep in mind, these ancient warlords aren't all about fighting all the time – they are well-skilled in diplomacy and know how to use it to keep the peace.

New-canon territories default to "independent" at first, but are essentially open to be claimed or conquered. The residents are free to petition to any of the nearby warlords for help and protection, make alliances, or form coalitions with each other for protection. At the worst, they can surrender their territory as a vassal or tributary of a warlord, and pay tribute for the privilege of being protected by somebody much bigger. As long as a territory is free and independent and no one is interested in attacking or conquering it, what goes on within its borders in terms of law and order is up to the residents. </dl>

<a name="travel"></a><dl><dt><big>Travel</big> </dt>

<dd>There are some roads between zones, and some rickety bridges have been built by engineers to connect territories where terrain made it difficult to get around.

But roads in antiquated territories are mostly to be primitive, dirt, gravel, cobblestone. The foot bridges will hold the weight of horses but not a large truck. Even with this, travel is encouraged - Visit other lands! See the ancient historical places in all their glory! Watch battles from a lawn chair on top of the next hill!

Just remember that this is all Orochi's realm, and clusters of snake-demon troops still roam the land, trying to keep the Resistance from staying stable and secure. Some areas have greater concentrations of enemy troops than others. Be cautious when traveling, it might be useful to take an escort - especially if this is one's first time on a horse.</dl>

<a name="calendar"></a><dl><dt><big>Calendar & Time </big> </dt>
<dd>Your character may remember coming from 500 BC, 200 AD, 1650, or 1993, but that isn't the date in this world. The passing of time is measured in Orochi's world from the year he was first defeated - at the game start, it is Year 5 PO (Post Orochi). The lunar calendar is still used to keep track of months, so days and weeks will be kept to the same they are OOCly. The game-to-OOC ratio is 1:1. GMT will be used to determine regular time deadlines for OOC purposes, such as for reserve and application deadlines.</dl>

<a name="weather"></a><dl><dt><big>Weather & Climate </big> </dt>
<dd> Once a territory is brought into the game, it syncs up with the season that the rest of the dimension is currently experiencing, but will still maintain its own climate.

For example, a zone set in Miami, Florida will not suddenly get feet of snow every winter like Scotland. The climate generally follows the seasons of the northern hemisphere, as most of the original territories were from there. Yet, every once in a while there may be an event that suddenly brings crazy mismatched weather to random territories.

If there is a territory with a unique situation as far as weather, let the moderators know. </dl>

Barter System As of now, the Barter System is still in a work in progress. If you have suggestions, please input them on the suggestions page instead of here, so they are separate from any transactions.

Keep in Mind: All coins must be earned by the character that will receive the reward.; Coins spent on a character slot may be accumulated across all characters.; The standard is 1 coin for regular activity per month, 2 coins for double-AC. The max is 2 coins.; Characters will not be making this purchase ICly, and they will not know where their new abilities or items are coming from.

IC Items


Tier 1: First-Level abilities.: ❖ Fire: 6 coins; »» The ability to produce a small flame, not much bigger than a candle flame. This flame may last up to an hour and provides considerable light for a single person. Once used up, they cannot produce another flame until they have been out in the sun to recharge for another hour.; ❖ Water: 6 coins; »» The ability to produce roughly 16 ounces of water. Only 16 ounces can exist at a time. You can generate another 8 ounces once the old water has evaporated or chemically changed. (Such as passing through the digestive or urinary system. Once it's urine and not just water, you can make more, etc.); ❖ Air: 6 coins; »» The ability to produce a small gust of air, enough to shuffle papers, knock off a person's hat, or blow out a rather stubborn candle. One can produce these small bursts for up to an hour. Repetitive use will drain the user of their energy, until they have slept.; ❖ Earth: 6 coins; »» The ability to cultivate a small plant. The plant cannot grow more than a foot tall, but can bear a minimal amount of food (enough to feed a single person for one meal.) The user cannot do it again until they have been properly fed themselves, including on the food just grown.; Other Powers and Tiers will be released later. We are still taking suggestions.
Magical Items --Still taking suggestions.: ❖ Bag of Holding: 8 coins; »» A magical bag that allows the character to conveniently transport large items that are collectively no bigger than a twin-sized bed. The opening of the bag will expand and close tightly as needed. When purchased, the character will find the bag among their things the next morning.
Weapon Charms: 6 coins: -❖ Brilliance Charm: Weapon obtains an elemental effect. The effect is random and may change. Effects include a burst of fire, water, air, or lightning.; -❖ Confluence Charm: Increases the stamina of the wielder, allowing them to fight longer. When the weapon isn't in use, it may allow the carrier to go longer without sleeping, for a maximum of 48 before the character starts to feel tired like normal.; -❖ Verity Charm: Sudden burst of energy that can be released in a single large attack or, when out of combat, allow for a burst of speed. When used as the latter, the person will have cheetah-like speed for 3 minutes before returning to normal. Recharges after sleep.; -❖ Typhoon Charm: Using a large burst of wind, able to move a large object several feet, or alternatively, move yourself through the air for the same, like a large jump. Max of 20 ft. Recharges after sleep.

OOC Items

: ❖ Character Slot: 12 coins; »» A character slot is permanent, even if you drop a character later. You don't have to build up your coins to unlock it a second time if that happens.
If poor activity is consistently shown (everyone has bad months now and then) we may decline a request for a character slot, and may revoke an existing one. We will warn any player beore action is taken.
As this does not effect a single character currently in game, you may use tokens earned from all of your characters to purchase this.; ❖ Death Token: 8 coins; »» Allows the player to engage in a death plot without having to drop the character, please see the Death System guidelines for use of this token. This token will be given back unused if plans fall through.

In Octacore, death is permanent. There is, unfortunately, no way to change that.
 
....Or is there?
 
Typically, when your character dies, for all intents and purposes you have dropped the character, and they will remain dead in-universe until they are re-applied for. A character who has died cannot be applied for again until a two week period has passed. This is to make sure there is enough time for IC reactions, as your character will be assumed to be either missing or dead.

There is a 3-day grace period after dropping to change your mind. People found abusing this feature to get around the consequences of characters dying in the game may receive punishment.

Dropping the character (through death or otherwise) means you lose all claim to them. Anyone may reapp this character once your drop is official and the grace period is over. You may reserve and re-app that character, but others may also challenge your application. 
Rarely, there may be events where the mods lift the death rule to allow massive casualties. People who opt into such events will not have to pay any penalties other than any described in the event.

<center><big>DEATH REWRITING</big></center>
 
If you wish for your character to die for plot purposes, but don't want to risk losing control of them you may purchase a death token from the barter system. These tokens are mod permission for a death plot, but you still need to make sure all other pieces are in place to use it:

<ol><li> Kaguya can only save your character if there is a specific point in the timeline she can send someone back to. This would allow that person to rewrite the circumstances of your character's death. That way, your character will not remember their death; the only ones who will remember will be their CR, and the person being used as the catalyst. A catalyst is a person who was relatively near a location before/during the events of a character's death. In this way, Kaguya is able to send help to those who may need it. <li>Someone must also be willing to go back and save your character to change the circumstances that lead to their dying. This person can (and should) be separate from the catalyst. Again, you need to organize with someone else in order to establish who is going back in time to conduct this rescue and what needs to be done to avoid that death. This may lead to other consequences, because you are disrupting time and it may change future events.
 
<li> Once you've figured out both of the above, you must fill out the form below and be approved. If possible, we will find a way to incorporate your character's death into other in-game events. For example, someone who burns in a fire due to a gunpowder explosion will find the gunpowder removed to another location, where it will be used to blow up a bridge or the like.
 
<li> You need prior approval to ensure you have both a token and a plan. If you have both, you will likely not be denied. However, we may need to edit the plot slightly. If you decide not to go through with it, the death token will be refunded.</ol></blockquote>

<dl><dt>Death Rewriting Permissions</dt>
<dd>Player Handle: This is the name you used to purchase your death token.
<dd>Character Name: Name of the character who is about to die.
<dd>Username: The Dreamwidth account for the character.
<dd>Death: The manner in which your character has met their end. Be as detailed as possible, including when and what territory your character is dying. Once this has been decided upon, there will be no changing this information, in case it interferes with other events.
<dd>Plan: The plan to rescue them. Be as detailed as possible. If you have trouble with this, we will be willing to assist you.</dl>

At times you may want to "update" a character to a more recent point in their canon. While you can't currently move them backwards, canon updates are allowed.
To prevent abuse of this system, there is a one week period in which your character is missing while they're "living" their update. You update must be approved before changes can be made.
 
Note: If your update requires canon switching, such as between mediums or to other version of the story where character backgrounds, histories or even personalities may differ, we may require you to fill out a whole app form for review. In these instances, your character will not be free for others to apply for. In the even of vastly different personalities and memories, it may be decided the change is too big, and a character may need to be reapped fresh for the change to apply

If there is a complaint about the conduct of a mod or player, please do not comment in this post. Instead, we ask that you send it to the mod email (octamodsatgmail.com) so that we may keep your complaint private. We ask that complaints not be anonymous, as we may need to discuss and gather more information, and encourage anyone with concerns to bring them to us so we can try to address it.
 
Actions toward complaints will be made at moderator discretion. We do not tolerate harassment, but also want to make sure we are looking at disputes from all angles. Typically, players will receive a warning for most things first, however the severity and seriousness of the complaint will determine the appropriate (if any) punishment. 
 
Bans may be used in very severe situations and can be considered permanent or temporary, depending on the nature of the concern (i.e., IC actions are usually different than OOC harassment).
